Services Pre Sales Solutions Manager - Lenovo - Quary Bay
Job description
• Lenovo is seeking a Services Solutions Manager as the primary Lenovo Services presales technical expert to support sales engagements. We are looking to grow opportunities that incorporate services into all customer solutions.
• The primary objective of the Services Solutions Manager is to work directly with the Sales team and their customers to identify efficiency opportunities in how they manage their pc lifecycle. This role has particular focus on Deployment with automation that leverages Lenovo's custom PC configuration services such as image development and Asset Recovery Services.
• The Services Solutions Manager will be actively engaged in large opportunities with both the internal team as well as with customers directly. He or she will play a primary role in helping to determine what services best match the needs of the customer to create a compelling solution. Ancillary responsibilities will include contributing to the ongoing education of our sales force through consistent and frequent interactions as well as providing the requisite reporting and tracking of the sales opportunity pipeline and results.
• The Services Solutions Manager must be comfortable dealing with all levels of customer representatives as well as all levels of Sales and Services leadership within Lenovo. He or she will be an active advocate for our Customers’ services needs within the business.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Achieve revenue target by acting in a consultancy capacity, assisting the Sales Teams' Account Managers in qualifying and scoping services opportunities, particularly Deployment and Imaging & Asset tagging.
• Consult with prospects and clients in order to gain a thorough understanding of their issues and objectives with regard to SOE development, Deployment and Imaging and Asset Tagging and prepare services proposals with the Sales Teams.
• Provide a bridge between our clients and ITC/Factory, Local Service providers, service teams located globally
• Preparation and documentation of requirements and statements of work.
• Contribute recommendations for improvement in process from Pre-Sales engagement through to delivery process.
• Act as a single point of contact for the Sales Team community within the defined geography.
• Act as a conduit between Sales Teams and Delivery and to own handover to Project Managers for development and delivery.
• Share best practice with colleagues in order to streamline and improve the end-to-end process.
• Attend internal and external meetings with Sales Teams and clients to promote Services offerings and provide clear and accurate reports on Sales Team and Account Management progress.
Position Requirements
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years Technical Pre-sales experience within PC industry.
• Successful track record in selling to IT management in the enterprise space
• Experience in and understanding of IT Services challenges and common requirements for both
domestic and international corporate customers
• Understanding of typical IT client infrastructures and associated hardware deployment practices and the ability to generate and communicate associated services value propositions.
• Strong teamwork skill and ability to collaborate and influence across multiple functional organizations toward appropriate customer solutions
• Familiarity with the understanding of imaging and provisioning process
• Asset management knowledge
• Ability to effectively identify trends occurring across customer segments, and convert those trends into new services portfolio requirements
• Ability to complete in-depth competitive analysis to best position our portfolio of service offerings
• Analysis capabilities to create, analyze and distribute performance data
• Significant experience creating compelling presentations and written proposals
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Results drive, team player
• Can-do attitude and ability to manage in a highly ambiguous environment
