Job Description
* Increasing our sales footprint within the global intermediaries sub-segment (ie global custodians and broker dealers) is a key pillar of our growth plans in the Bank
* This role is a leadership position to help us formulate a coherent sales strategy to all profiles of global intermediary in Hong Kong, to build connectivity to key decision makers and to ensure that we have the insight to substantially restructure our strategic engagement with key clients in the Region
* This role also carries a global scope - providing input and support to our global strategy for international intermediaries both in the North Asian team as well as within the global sub-segment team

Key Roles & Responsibilities
* To engage with clients, product teams and other stakeholders to formulate a new sales message for global intermediaries: in terms of our unique value for them in the next 5-10 years
* To cooperate with our internal stakeholders to ensure that this messaging is consistent and aligned
* To formulate a coherent plan for how we will grow our revenues from global intermediaries in Hong Kong: including target messages, expected revenue growth, key messages and key actions
* To define and implement best practice in terms of account penetration and tactics - leveraging experience of existing client relationships
* To communicate and agree this plan with internal stakeholders
* To ensure that we maintain a disciplined sales management process - spanning account planning, opportunity origination, qualification, closure and delivery - across the team in Hong Kong



* To drive best practice within (a) the global intermediaries team in HK; (b) the North Asian intermediaries team
* To actively support these teams in client connectivity and sales planning wherever possible
* To be directly accountable for a number of intermediary accounts within the overall priority list
* To ensure that we build and maintain a market profile that is in line with our aspirations in this space: in terms of conferences, working groups, etc.
* To play a very active role in the presentation of SCB in the media
* To work with internal stakeholders in order to ensure that all issues identified with our sales opportunities are communicated and addressed
* To work with partners in our organization to leverage the value of our sales opportunities (e.g. SCB Financial Markets, etc.) and to increase cross selling wherever possible
* To participate in all ongoing management committees for HK specifically (including Client Experience Forums, Risk Forums, etc.)
* To represent the I&I team locally wherever possible within the HK organisation

Qualifications & Skills
* Degree holder or above
* Solid experience in a Product Sales or Relationship Management role
* Demonstrated success and track record in a Sales function
* Good communication skills
* Strong Analytical and problem solving skills , and attention to detail
