Job description
CNN International is seeking a senior media executive to lead Sales and Business development for its Content and Partnerships business in APAC. The Senior Director of Content Sales and Partnerships - APAC will oversee the growth of broadcast and digital content sales in the region by identifying, developing and implementing opportunities for content licensing , branded channels and other customised content initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Content Sales, s/he will manage a Hong Kong based sales team consisting of a Director of Content Asia Sales and an Assistant Sales manager.
The Senior Director will also work closely with in house Turner sales teams in countries across the region to develop deals, as well as with local and CNNIC Finance to manage the forecasting of revenue and risk for the business.

Qualifications:


Understanding of News and media industry, media network in Asia
Editorial background on experience working with News Content Sales
10+ years of relevant experience managing content sales in APAC
Strong Team Leader able to motivate, develop and mentor direct reports into a highly cohesive Team
Strong negotiating and deal making skills
Pipeline and forecasting experience
Ability to manage different stakeholders, clients and high volume demands within the region in coordination with that leadership position.
Excellent communicator able to balance effectively the information needs of various stakeholders
Asia languages a plus, but not essential
