We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Client Manager, Corporate Sector, Client Onboarding Services
In this role, you will
Ensure timely Client onboarding services deliver to Global Banking Markets (GBM) Corporate Sector clients
Working with GBM Front Office staff to implement the Bank’s client selection and onboarding policy and criteria.
Act as single point of contact for clients while facing-off internally on their behalf across internal support groups and business partners
Coordination across HSBC teams locally and globally throughout the onboarding process. In particular building strong relationships with Relationship Managers, Sales and Trading, Payments and Cash Management, Compliance, Credit and Documentation in order to facilitate timely account opening
Lead a virtual team with team members in both onshore and offshore location to deliver onboarding and related services to client
Build rapport with client and colleagues from diversified cultural background
Demonstrate leadership on Regulatory & Compliance matters. Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification etc.
Desired Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills of both English and Chinese.
Problem solving ability - can listen and anticipate possible issues and seek to eliminate, migrate, escalate as appropriate
Sense of ownership and accountability to client and the business
Appreciation of the general industry landscape and being up-to-date with current affairs which may affect/delay the onboarding process
Able to work with, influence and convey a sense of urgency on other team members in order to secure the best outcomes for our clients and business partners
