Job description
iTunes is looking for a Marketing Manager, to take a key role in driving the growth of the iTunes business across Asia Pacific.

An outstanding knowledge, understanding and network of contacts within the content, brand and media in- dustry
Demonstrable track-record of business development and strategic marketing Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and results-driven

Business acumen to recognize and develop commercial marketing opportunities that will drive bottom-line business growth
A hands one approach to executing projects from start to finish
Fantastic communication and presentation skills
Outstanding academic record
Fluent in one of Asian languages and English to support counterparts in respective countries

Description

This position is based in Hong Kong.
The candidate for this management level position will be responsible for developing key marketing programs focused on helping iTunes to become the leading distributor of content across Asia Pacific.
The candidate will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy to increase customer acquisition, reten- tion, consumer awareness and customer spend of the highly successful content services within iTunes. The role requires an ambitious, entrepreneurial self-starter excited by a future in which content services are consumed over Internet and wireless technologies.
The applicant will combine the business acumen to work in close collaboration with senior decision makers with content owners, media companies and brands, an innate understanding of customer needs and behavior, the creativity to conceive exciting, large scale promotions and campaigns and an understanding of online marketing and social media.

Drive new customer acquisition and sales in Asia by conceiving and executing on innovative and high-profile marketing initiatives
Work in partnership with Asia’s leading labels, studios, and production companies on co-marketing activities to maximize the awareness and sales of their content on the iTunes Store
Conceive and develop marketing programs with 3rd party brands and media owners designed to drive aware- ness and sales of content on iTunes
Work with the iTunes online marketing team to optimize traffic and sales of video content through social me- dia, affiliate referrals, search and display advertising
Develop and maintain iTunes’ brand positioning within the region.
