Job description
Based in Hong Kong / Shenzhen and reporting to the COO, the IT Director is mainly in charge of managing the IT team (20+ people based in Hong Kong & China, mix of Western & Chinese nationalities).
Main responsibilities
recruit / manage / mentor / evaluate the team
define, implement, control and be accountable for the IT team’s KPIs
define and implement AsiaInspection IT strategy, from technologies used to hardware and software infrastructure
organize & allocate development projects (web, mobile, backend)
improve & implement IT processes
manage contractors, from hardware vendors to development agencies
be responsible for the company’s IT output quality and reliability
The IT Director is responsible for the elaboration and execution of the company’s IT budget.
The position therefore requires a combination of:
- proven management and organization skills
- global technical skills ranging from development project management to network administration
Desired Skills and Experience
After IT engineering studies, the applicant has gained a minimum of 10 years experience in the IT field, preferably in international companies where he has mixed development, administration, project management and team management.
Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. software development, technical support, systems architecture etc.
Strong knowledge and experience in web-oriented projects, expertise in web technologies (cloud computing, Java J2ee, PHP,…) is a plus
English is a must (daily communications)
