Director - Sales - BT Global Services - Hong Kong
Job description
The role holder is responsible for representing BT Global Services and meeting sales targets for designated products and managed services across named and un-named accounts in Hong Kong.
He / she will have a good understanding of the ICT market trends and therefore opportunities to address our clients’ business challenges and objectives.
He / she negotiates at a high level, but within well-defined limits of delegation.
Key Responsibilities:
The role holder is responsible for the development of sales of designated products in an established account, market sector or product-line.

Be responsible for the delivery of order intake, revenue and margin targets
To define, develop and own key FSI customer relationships and customer contact strategy across multiple layers of the business.
To develop and execute Account Development Plans (demonstrating a clear understanding of the client business plans, objectives, goals and challenges) to grow sales and revenue into existing and new accounts
To effectively develop, qualify and prioritise sales opportunities to make best use of BT resources
To produce written and presentation proposals in response to tenders
To follow the latest market trends and developments, understand BT products and services and apply these within the customer context
Liaise and coordinate with other BT teams and offices worldwide to maximise opportunities
To maintain accurate forecasting of pipeline, sales, revenue, win / loss reports and client database
May operate on a multi-country basis.
Likely to have responsibility for management of a virtual team
Business Impact:
Medium–term business strategy and objectives typically guide this role, although there may be involvement in the formulation and development of future policy.
Impact is primarily short-term but may develop plans over the medium terms.
Assesses customer relationships and service level.
Authority / Decision Making:
Able to engage at senior management level both internally and externally to within well-defined limits of delegation.
Qualifications:
Graduate / Degree Holder or equivalent work experience within FSI market segment
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills/Experience Required:
Relevant sales tracke record profile highly preferred.
Good business network especially with MNCs in Hong Kong.
Good leadership skills in managing, motivating and coaching.
Strong presentation skills
Proven track record in closing of multi-million US$ deals
Language Requirements:
Fluent in English, Spoken and written
