Director - Marketing - Montblanc - Hong Kong
Job description
Purpose:
Responsibilities:
Strategy
*Define regional message development, campaign planning in alignment with corporate messaging
*Ensure balance between local and global alignment, as well as understanding local commercial needs and objectives
*Accompany local teams in defining objectives and action plans
*Support local teams to execute strongly against core strategic objectives
*Monitor results against clear objectives, expectations and international / regional KPIs per function
Link
*Work closely with other regional departments to build effective integrated 360 marketing activities, including consistent product launch (product strategy/events/communications/ whole sale & retail messages/actions)
Develop
*Create regional marketing platforms/assets/events/concept/material to support local teams
*Enhance consumers-oriented approach to deliver added value experience to the clients (versus brand/product-oriented approach)
Organization/Process/Skills
*Diagnose organizational practices
*Support local teams in optimizing the marketing activities (structure, process, tools)
*Help local teams to develop their marketing skills
Provide Insights
*Create APAC knowledge and best practices to share with the local teams
*Provide HQ with APAC insights to better target APAC consumers needs
Advise
*Be a central point of contact for early consideration of ideas, concepts and opportunities from local markets and HQ (concept targeting APAC consumers)
Assist
*Support local teams in the development of outreach plans for local marketing and communications linked to global strategic priorities
*Co-ordinate and Ensure Consistency
*Map out detailed timelines to co-ordinate all global and local marketing activities, ensuring plans take account of all business activities and are scheduled to optimise marketing/media/PR opportunities
*Partner with local teams to ensure messages are understood and plans executed effectively, resulting in global alignment and consistency, with local sensitivity
Deliver clear Reporting
*Provide measurement and qualitative assessment of results to evaluate campaign success and strategy, measured against the pre-determined KPIs, with the help of local subsidiaries
Desired Skills and Experience
* University degree in Marketing; MBA preferable
* At least 10 years of solid experience in marketing functions, with good knowledge of the markets in the AP region
* Good knowledge of 360 marketing strategy
* Strong leadership and influencing skills
* Comparable marketing experience with an international company; preferable with luxury product marketing experience.
