Instagram Community Manager - APAC - Facebook - Hong Kong


Job description
Instagram seeks a community manager to support Instagram’s rapid growth and adoption in Asia. In just over two years, the Instagram community has grown to over 130 million people, with more than half outside the US. In this role you will play a key part in representing and supporting the Instagram community, acting as the eyes and ears for Instagram in Asia. This is a full-time position which can be based in our Tokyo, Hong Kong, Seoul or Singapore offices.

Responsibilities
Be a channel of communication: listen closely to local communities and help evolve the Instagram voice in Asia
Develop scalable ways to source and promote content that represents the best of the Instagram community in Asia, such as inspiring users, current events, and noteworthy trends
Write features for the Instagram blog and maintain brand and editorial standards across written materials
Work with International Communications to promote product launches in your region
Advise Partnerships team on in-region Instagram events and public figure onboarding
Be an ambassador for Instagram in Asia with local communities
Identify and communicate regional support issues to the User Operations team in Dublin and Menlo Park

Requirements
Deep understanding of and passion for the Instagram community and product
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and understanding of other languages spoken in your region
Diligent, independent worker with strong project management and decision-making skills
5+ years experience working with global, cross-functional teams
5+ years experience crafting messaging and branding for a large international audience

Measurement Lead – China - Facebook - Hong Kong


Job description
The APAC Measurement and Insights team is seeking an experienced measurement professional to partner with advertisers in the Greater China region to understand their consumers on Facebook and the effectiveness of their ad spend. Consumer behavior is rapidly changing and as a result marketing is changing. Facebook is uniquely positioned to influence the future of marketing given its reach and the capabilities of our platform. This role represents an opportunity to help shape that influence in one of the fastest growing regions.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a desire to work at the forefront of advertising, and a passion for generating data-based insights. This role will challenge the candidate to not only provide strategic direction to major advertisers on their measurement efforts, but also to undertake original audience research, work deeply with the external research industry, and develop strategic insights into marketing on the Facebook platform. Applicants should be comfortable in a client-facing role, quantitatively oriented with experience in analyzing large datasets, focused on results, and self-motivated. This is a full time position based in our Hong Kong office.

Responsibilities
Deliver audience insights around users in the region
Work closely with advertisers to develop research (via campaign level measurement plans) to understand the relative impact of different marketing strategies on Facebook
Conduct in-depth custom market research studies and advertising effectiveness studies for advertisers, leveraging internal survey and data analysis tools
Lead client conversations and influences client measurement thinking
Serve as the day-to-day contact for key strategic advertiser relationships as they pertain to measurement

Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience, media/marketing measurement or analytics experience and general love of data and numbers
Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
Solid understanding of online advertising and familiarity with brand advertising and marketing frameworks, including ad effectiveness measurement techniques
Excellent communication and client-interaction skills are essential
Statistical analysis experience valuable, including but not limited to experimental design
Familiarity with survey research methods and considerations
Quantitative background with strong Excel and SQL skills and the curiosity and persistence to work with large data sets
Management consulting, agency, or sales experiences are highly valuable
Fluency in Mandarin required, knowledge of Cantonese desired

Requirements
5-10 years recruiting/management experience from a search firm or in-house recruiting team
