Product Marketing Manager - Small Business Marketing - Google - Hong Kong
Job description
The Hong Kong Small Business Marketing team is responsible for bringing new AdWords advertisers into the franchise. We leverage traditional direct marketing channels as well as innovative alternative channels to reach prospective advertisers. The team focuses on Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), and plays a leadership role in Google’s efforts to reach out to and serve the small business community. Our goals are specific and significant – quantity and quality of new advertisers, driving a substantial portion of Google’s overall revenue growth.
As the Marketing Manager for Small Business Marketing, you will be responsible for leading business planning, internal communications and operations for the team. In this role, you will partner our counterparts in other regions to drive the development of global objectives and key results each quarter, establish worldwide communications excellence, develop a sound operational platform to enable fast and effective scaling of best practices across acquisition channels and countries, and be responsible for internal communications regarding our marketing activities and performances.
Responsibilities
Drive the Small Business marketing strategy to acquire and retain SMB advertisers and drive revenue for Google.
Plan, implement and track - acquisition/retention/win-back - marketing campaigns.
Innovate and develop best practices for B2B advertiser acquisition at Google.
Contribute to communication of marketing strategy to senior/executive management in the region and to the broader organization.
Engage external vendors to support Small Business Marketing.
Minimum Qualifications
BA or BS Degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Fluency in English and Cantonese.

Responsibilities
Manage a team and work with the regional sales teams to target existing and some new customers and to develop strong relationships with clients and their marketing services agencies.
Establish a strong relationship with the key stakeholders in large Canadian organizations and major Canadian representations of interest.
Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic sales plans, and prepare and conduct strategic pitches and sales presentations.
Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an evangelist to targeted events and conferences.
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of combined experience in media, management and/or consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or related graduate degree.
Demonstrated successful relationship building experience with institutions and administration organizations.
Broad knowledge of sales and management, and proven team management experience.
Proven track record of leading world-class sales teams and other managers effectively.
Demonstrated success at working with cross-functional teams and building strong relationships across departments; deep cross-functional understanding of media businesses and management operations within the digital media ecosystem; proven success in business development, client relationship and servicing skills, and solution-based selling.
