Job description
Working with the Global Business Development Team and the Executive Director – Asia, the Business Development Director supports the business development activities of the organization locally. Driving new business for the company, the BD Director plays a key role in the company’s goal of increasing marginal revenue and building key relationships.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
Collaborates with leadership to develop strategies for establishing partnerships and business relationships to market product offerings and services, across the full business lines of DMS Offshore Investment Services (Investment Funds, DMS Outsourcing, DMS Corporate Service and DMS Bank +Trust)
Manages relationships with specified prospects, client funds and strategic partners and regular reports on results.
Responsible for the generation of new business sales revenue but, also for the overall development and growth of the company’s profile and reputation.
Attends conferences and seminars.
Prepares and delivers presentations and demonstrations.
Records and reports business activities through Microsoft CRM.
Upholds DMS Code of Conduct and considers the best interests of the shareholders of the company at all times. Manages costs.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
3 to 5 years related Financial Services experience
Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Must have practical Hedge Fund knowledge.
A proven track record in relationship building.
A proven track record of increasing revenue.
Ability to travel.
