Manager - Sourcing and Supply Chain Management - Disneyland - Hong Kong
Job description
This position trains and develops a sourcing team that possess high level of business ethics and integrity to deliver maximum supply value to the company, mitigate the risk exposure by the company and protect the company’s right and interest.
He/she leads the team to deliver saving targets by developing sourcing strategy, identifying value engineering opportunities and driving appropriate communication and buy in across business units and segments.
On supply chain management, he/she identifies, develops and implements supply chain strategies and cost savings initiatives across all lines of business.
He/she develops and assists with supply chain optimization tools or models which will decrease the total delivered cost of doing business while increasing in-stock commitments.
Besides, he/she manages local business clients and partners across all segments and ensures the sourcing strategy align with segment and global direction while delivering best interest to Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL). He/she also needs to keep abreast of supply market situation and maintain sound relationship with key vendors for continuous improvement of supply cost and quality.
The manager plays an important role to ensure policy compliance and mitigate the risk exposure of the Company through managing the sourcing process, development of right sourcing solution and negotiation for the best commercial and contractual terms.

Responsibilities
Managing a team of sourcing professionals to provide sourcing solution to business units and manage the team’s sourcing activities to ensure best practices and right sourcing strategies are deployed and maximize supply chain value
Managing client relationship and exerting influences to arrive at win-win solutions
Conducting spend profiling and customer profiling to develop broader sourcing strategies on category and company basis
Compiling, monitoring and reporting supply chain performance and cost, including fill rate, quality, cycle time and productivity across the supply chain core process of Operations, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Transportation and Warehousing. Developing and assisting with the development of network optimization tools. Updating and adding functionality to existing sourcing models.
Identifying supply chain cost savings opportunities and assisting logistics partners with identification and development of supply chain solutions
Building and maintaining strategic vendor relationships; improving product and service deliverables, pricing competitiveness and contract compliance
Developing annual and long term sourcing plan to identify saving opportunities to help the company on cost management as well as to meet the saving targets
Mitigating risk exposure of the Company through deployment of right sourcing strategy, appropriate education and training to the casts
Protecting the right of the company by appropriately drafting, negotiating and incorporating the terms and conditions, scope and performance requirement in the contract
Managing global business partners across all segments, leveraging the global spend and ensuring the sourcing strategy align with segment and global director while delivering best interest to HKDL
Basic Qualifications
At least 10 years of relevant sourcing and procurement or supply chain management experience. Experience gained in multinational firm or sizeable procurement organization, experience with strategic sourcing where saving is a key measurement and experience with SAP, Ariba or other ERP system will definitely be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally, locally and globally.
Excellent leadership skills to manage a team of professionals from different trades.
Being an entrepreneur and able to drive changes, influence people at all levels to collaborate and be innovative in creating synergies.
Good problem solving skills to identify creative win-win solutions for the company and vendors. Proven experiences in conducting complex negotiation to close the gaps on cost, quality, compliance requirements and contract terms.
Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese / Chinese is required; while Putonghua is preferred.
Preferred Education
Master degree in Purchasing, Business, Finance, Law, Engineering, Hospitality, Quantity Surveying or Building Studies is preferred.
