Job description
The Senior Project Manager will play a key role in helping the Company deliver sustainable growth and consistent results, and support in planning a new future of faster growth and increasing competitiveness. This role will assist the General Manager and management team with addressing a variety of business needs and projects.
Strategy: Business Division strategic planning, competitor analysis, business modeling, communications strategy, project management, Sourcing Summits, etc.
Sourcing Specific:Sourcing opportunity and country analysis, portfolio/project prioritization, competitive analysis, etc.
Deployment: strategy implementation, tracking and analysis.
Project Management: cross-divisional project coordination and cross-functional (SCM, Logistics, IT, etc.) project alignment as well as Sourcing interface.
KEY TASKS:
Set up project teams, project management and implementation
Support the General Manager in daily business
Conduct primary and secondary research to obtain appropriate data, and do necessary analysis.
Drive strategic projects and lead/influence cross functional team for projects, present key findings, share the insight, and follow up internal projects.
Develop and conduct competitor/industry intelligence, extract the insight, and cascade to team when necessary.
Keep track of the key strategy/initiative deployment via appropriate reports.
Prepare meetings, participate, take minutes and follow-up
Support regional/global business review via data supplying and presentation building up.
Desired Skills and Experience
Business Degree or equivalent, with emphasis in strategy or general management
Minimum 5 years working experience in project/program management
Solid business knowledge in supply chain and experience in Apparel/Accessories/Footwear sourcing industry is a definite advantage
Superior analytical skills, including quantitative and qualitative
Excellent business sense, communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
Systems knowledge and data analysis
Fluent in English, multi-lingual would be a plus
