Job description
As a Finance Specialist in the Asia Pacific region, you'll have opportunities to make a big impact on Intel's business strategy. You'll provide consulting and leadership for designing and implementing long-term and highly complex projects. In addition, you'll influence the development of new strategies and concepts to meet critical business needs.
You'll collaborate with senior managers to conduct in-depth analysis on major decisions that will keep Intel a world leader in computing innovation. From driving cost and pricing analysis for our CPU products, to creating capital spending recommendations to optimize a billion-dollar investment in our newest factory, you'll shape the direction of Intel's product and manufacturing roadmaps.
Use strategic thinking, advanced analysis and decision science to solve a wide range of business problems. You will provide information and counsel in the areas of controls/risk management, pricing, cost, financial strategies, return on investment decisions, and the development of overall business plans and strategies.
Interact with senior stakeholders on project issues often requiring coordination across organizational lines and serve as a technical consultant to senior management and external operations for the organization on projects and/or matters regarding company policy and practices.
Review and approve recommendations for financial planning and control.
Qualifications
Finance Specialists require advanced knowledge of the finance field with in-depth knowledge in one or more specialty areas and integrates the working knowledge of other professional disciplines.
Requires experience with and thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work.
MBA Degree in Finance or Business and 5-7 years of related practical experience. Technical undergraduate degree preferred.
The ability to secure the legal right to work is required for this position.
