Job description
Assist Procurement Head to direct and manage centralized procurement function for the country.
Develop proper sourcing strategy to maximize the value for the firm.
Take lead and participate in strategic-sourcing projects across different major commodities i.e, Technology, Marketing, and other Corporate Services related commodities.
Work closely with Regional Procurement Office to deploy regional initiatives in conjunction with country business stakeholders to achieve the annual country / regional saving targets.
Develop, enhance and maintain internal systems for vendor and contract management, and save and Procurement performance matrix monitoring and reporting.
Ensure compliance and adherence to the established policy and procedure within and outside centralized purchasing services.
Enforce vendor selection and vendor engagement process in daily bidding activities.
Desired Skills and Experience
University graduate with 5 years of relevant experience
Solid experience in strategic sourcing activities, negotiation and contract and project management, preferably in banking and financial industry
Strategic-minded and be a change agent
Strong business acumen
Excellent relationship building, influencing and communication skills
Excellent analytical capability
Experience in people management
Member of leading purchasing & supply management professional bodies will be a definite advantage (e.g. MCIPS, MISM)
