Director - PTS - Panasonic Avionics Corporation - Hong Kong

Job description
Oversees the management of the Technical Services Operations in the region. He will manage and direct all MS operational Managers assigned to the region.
Develops and manages the business interest of PTS in the region. He is responsible to coordinate with the various Marketing, Engineering and other Panasonic groups in the regional level.
Maintains good customer relationship with airline customers based in the region.
Develops and manages the regional MS Business plan. Strategies and Operational goals.

Actively pursues new MS business activities and participates in regional negotiations to acquire new business.
Develops performance requirements among team to consistently work toward enhancing PAC’s reputation among customers and suppliers.
Ensures compliance of MS contractual commitments
Ensures the MS operational sites have the appropriate resources to perform at the standards and practices specified in the company MOE.
Comply with all laws and regulations, and cooperate with all regulatory agencies and their representatives.
Oversees all “third party” maintenance organizations to ensure service agreements are being met.

Desired Skills and Experience
Masters degree or equivalent work experience.
Must have financial management education or experience
Minimum of 10 years experience with managing a maintenance organization.
Minimum of 5 years project management experience
Working knowledge of global civil aviation regulations and requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to present to executive decision makers.
Has strong business acumen
Ability to organize and implement department objectives.
Ability to plan, assign, train, and direct employees.
Ability to interview, hire, and appraise employees.
Highly developed team building skills.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
