To render comprehensive financial advice to clients that have been assigned to the Investment Consultant by the RM
Represent the whole PB and Asset Management capabilities in front of the assigned clients
To keep abreast with the latest developments in financial markets, product innovation and financial engineering by following the current news and events, the Credit Suisse Research universe, personal information network within PB and AM and other relevant source of news, information and intelligence;
To take responsibility of all investment needs (portfolios) of the assigned clients and as such supporting the RM in the development of the overall relationship;
To identify business opportunities within and beyond the investment solutions area and activate the partner departments catering services and solutions to clients
Support the acquisition of clients by professionally and impactful representing the full Credit Suisse investment capabilities in the context of pitching to prospects alongside of colleagues from other dedicated departments
Develop investment concepts imbedding discretionary as well as non-discretionary solutions as a master plan on how to pursue the clients investment objective
Directly interact with assigned clients (or gatekeeper) to update the client on market/performance development, present investment opportunities, adjust the portfolio to the overall strategy and perform detailed reviews on a quarterly basis.
To ensure that all the investment activities carried out adhere to the compliance requirements of the firm;
Make active use of added value services like modelling tools, premium reporting, etc.
To continuously upgrade own investment and client-relationship skills;
To bring into play value based teamwork to the IC team.
Business Focus
Studying client’s profile, background, risk/return parameters, investment experience, current portfolio, etc., and arrive at an accurate understanding of client’s needs
Aligning the financial advice and investment strategy with client profile and offer products suited for client’s needs
Remaining regularly in touch with clients, as per their requirements, in order to build and sustain trust and relationship
Generate NNA and revenues based on an integrated service approach between AM/IB/PB
Marketing Role
Educating the RMs about the Value Proposition of IC, either by phone or by direct meetings and presentations
Meeting assigned clients in conjunction with the RMs
Producing top quality investment concepts for the joint pitching with RM to prospects and clients
Being present at marketing events hosted by the bank
Execution Role
Accepting transaction instructions from clients and ensure proper execution
Monitoring the execution of instructions on behalf of the client
Updating client on the status of the orders/instructions and reporting back upon execution as back up to the RM Team
Learning Role
Keeping abreast with the latest developments in the world that could have implications on the investments made by assigned clients
Learning the customs, practices and sensibilities of the new clients in order to ensure that customer affinity can be established
Keeping abreast with the latest products offerings of the bank and the latest recommendations
Using personal network, market intelligence and likes to provide advice to clients
Compliance Role
Ensuring that all necessary documentation and formalities are completed first by RM with regards the assigned clients
Keeping abreast of the latest compliance regulations of the bank, particularly those with regards to IC
Exercising care in accepting and transmitting trade instructions to minimize losses due to operational errors
